*Drop-in* Workshop:
Poet Woes – a place to meet with other poets to talk about the daily struggles of being a poet. Topics to discuss may include the literary community, navigating social media, submissions, seeking publication (both individual poems, chapbooks, full-length manuscripts), small presses, literary magazines, editors, agents, and more. This is not a replacement for therapy sessions; however, it can be a place to bring your “dark night of the soul” questions.
Could meet weekly or bimonthly.
Fees: pay-what-you-wish donation.

The Poetry of Richard Siken
I’d like to host a 2-day (?) workshop on the poetry of Richard Siken. Workshop attendees are encouraged to read both of Siken’s poetry collections — ‘Crush’ & ‘War of the Foxes’. Please contact if you’re interested so I can get a head count on those who might be interested in attending.
There are a few other poets I’m interested in taking a deep dive into with workshop attendees. If you’re interested in this type of workshop, please let me know and I’ll let you know what I have in mind.

Workshop: Ekphrasis & Persona
Details in brief: Ekphrasis is essentially just one artform interacting with another artform. Persona poems are writing in the voice of someone who is not you (or not quite you). Prior to workshop, I’ll share a Google doc with links to images that will [hopefully] inspire you to write a persona poem in the ekphrastic form. In session, we’ll discuss ekphrastic and persona poems and share poems written by participants based on the prompt.
